REBECCA PRAIN

Chief Executive Officer

Rebecca is a qualified Geologist, graduating from University of Otago, NZ and has over 35 years of experience in mining and mining services businesses. After a number of operational mine geology roles, she moved to Surpac Software and started what became 18 years in mining technology. During this time, Rebecca used her technical experience, people skills and pragmatic nature to develop hundreds of positive business relationships throughout the mining industry, at all levels. Most recently, she has been Managing Director of Cube Consulting and is a Non-Executive Director of Vault Minerals. She has been a passionate advocate for young women in the industry and mentor for the next generation of geologists through the Women in Mining WA (WIMWA) mentoring program and was recognised by the CME in 2021 with the Woman in Resources Champion award.

Rebecca is a Member of the AIG (Australian Institute of Geoscientists) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

BRENDAN PARKER

Managing Director

Brendan founded AMPS in 2011 after years of on-site experience, and recognising the critical need to retain and build technical knowledge in mining. A qualified Mining Engineer and graduate of the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM), Brendan has worked across Australia, China, and Canada, gaining extensive experience with metalliferous projects in both operational and consulting environments. His experience ranges from drill and blast system implementation, mentoring, engineering specific training, mine planning and optimisation to involvement with various mining studies from scoping through to feasibility, due diligence evaluation and initial public offerings.

Brendan holds a pre-2024 Western Australian First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM). His contributions to the industry have earned him multiple awards and accolades:

2013 – Fremantle Young Entrepreneur of the Year

2020 – Business News Australia Young Entrepreneur of the Year (#72)

2021 – 40 Under 40 Award Winner

RICHARD LEROY

Chief Development Officer

Richard is a qualified Mining Engineer, graduating from the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM) and has significant experience working in underground metalliferous projects in both operational and consulting environments. His experience includes drill and blast system implementation and optimisation, mentoring, engineering-specific training and management of various technical service departments throughout Australia and South America.

Richard holds a Western Australian First Class Mining Managers Certificate of Competency and also has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance.

LAUREN STIENSTRA

Chief Operating Officer

Lauren is a qualified Geologist, graduating from Wollongong University with a bachelor’s degree in Geoscience. She has significant experience working in underground metalliferous operations across Australia. Her experience includes underground production, drill planning, resource estimation, reconciliation, mentoring, and the management of the daily functioning of the Mine Geology department.

Lauren is a JORC competent person for the reporting of VMS deposits and holds an Associate Certificate of Applied Management.

Jenelle Goddard

Chief Financial Officer

Jenelle holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Curtin University and is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant and Company Secretary with over 20 years’ experience in the resources industry in Western Australia. Most recently she was Acting CFO for Strandline Resources Ltd and General Manager of Finance and Business Services for ConsMin.

Jenelle has an MBA in Leadership from Curtin University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

LUKE HAYSOM

Underground Engineering Manager

Luke is a qualified Mining Engineer, graduating from the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM). His work has included a variety of underground metalliferous operations across W.A. His experience includes drill and blast optimisation, short to medium-term planning and scheduling, and training and mentoring, in all stages of the operational process from drill and blast engineering through to Alternate Underground Manager.

Luke holds a Western Australian First Class Mining Managers Certificate of Competency.

CESAR JUAN

Underground Remote Design Manager

Cesar is a qualified Mining Engineer, graduating from the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM). His experience derives from working in underground metalliferous projects in both Australia and overseas in both operational and consulting environments. His experience includes drill and blast optimisation, long-term planning and scheduling, engineering system implementation and optimisation, and engineering-specific training and mentoring.

Cesar holds a Western Australian First Class Mining Managers Certificate of Competency and also has a Graduate Diploma in Project Management.

 

Jessica Wilson

Alternate Manager Underground Engineering

Jess is an experienced Mining Engineer and has developed a solid foundation in the mining industry through hands-on experience in underground operations and technical support roles. After attending the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM), she worked as an underground operator before moving into production and planning support across both operational and consulting environments. She has contributed to a range of metalliferous underground projects, working both on-site and remotely.

RICHARD DE LEON

East Coast Consulting Manager

Richard De Leon is a qualified Mining Engineer, graduating from The University of New South Wales in Sydney. Richard has spent the majority of his career focusing on hardrock metals mining in both open pit and underground operations with a focus on strategic mine planning. Richard has exposure and capability across multiple mine software solutions and has worked across mining projects around the world. His experience in the mining industry includes corporate, training, technology solutions, business development, and consulting in Australia, South America, Europe, and Asia.

Richard has a passion for seeking out solutions, employing effective mine planning strategies, and optimising mining business operations.

Richard is a Fellow Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM).

Alessandra Meschenmoser

Geology Team Lead

Ally is a qualified Geologist, with a Master’s Degree in Geoscience from Stuttgart University, Germany. With over 16 years of experience across the mining industry ranging from iron ore through to nickel and gold, she has held roles in production, reserve definition and senior project positions within the corporate space.

Her exposure to a wide range of mining technologies lead to a keen interest in geological software. This ultimately resulted in becoming the Seequent Leapfrog Trainer for AMPS.

Ally combines technical knowledge, interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for supporting and empowering those around her.
