Our Story
When Brendan Parker founded AMPS in 2011, he recognised a critical gap in the industry – new engineers lacked the skills and knowledge to meet mining’s demanding expectations.
As a drill and blast consultant, Brendan repeatedly encountered the same operational issues at mine sites. He saw an opportunity to improve knowledge retention and technical competency by creating AMPS and addressing the skills gap from two key perspectives. Firstly, by developing and implementing robust technical systems, by standardising processes, supporting operational staff, and delivering targeted training, and secondly, by building a team of practical, collaborative engineers who could directly support mine sites and drive long-term improvements from within.

Our vision is to improve professional capability in the resources industry for lasting, positive change. We invest heavily in hiring, training, and developing our team to ensure they excel throughout their careers at AMPS.
With a strong culture of technical excellence, clear communication, and drive to add value for every client, we improve mining operations through the quality of our work.
